Briony Elizabeth Woodward

Gorgeous little Briony Elizabeth Woodward,got her own pair of angel wings on 19th march 2007,aged 3 yrs 3 months and 3 days.
she lived in Barnsley but spent lots of her time on `the ward` [m3 sheffield childrens hospital]
leaving mummy meayla,daddy darron and brothers blake[baity] and tommy[pom-pom]
Briony bravely coped with treatment for the deadly childhood cancer,NEUROBLASTOMA for almost 2 years
she passed away in mummys arms holding daddys hand.

She was a law unto herself,a livewire,a bossy britches and so unbelievably adorable,she was sweet and loving and a true joy to know.
she was my soul-mate.
she loved pink and cbeebies.
Getting her own way came very easy to her!
she loved sticking stickers everywhere and bought every kids magazine going every week,just for the free gifts.
she loved putting everyone in their place and sitting on mummys knee,she had special daddy days where no-one but daddy could do anything for her
the other days it was always mummy x

she leaves us with some fantastically funny memories,
like the time in tesco car park when she demanded we put her potty on the floor and then went on to get her kit off!!! everything!! she had `mr wiggly` dangling from her chest and a 8 inch scar across her tum from her operation and a nasal gastric tube in her nose!!! she looked a sight but she wouldnt let us near her,demanded we stayed round back of the car,people looked at her[well you would lets face it!!!!] she screamed `get round there` for whatever reason we were in fits of laughter and darent go near her for fear of our eyes been scratched out!!!!!!

Or the time she came round from an anasthetic and her platelets were really low but that didnt stop her trying to bang her head on bed sides,then trying to slap her consultant.
when her platelet transfusion was put up she ripped it out,leaving platelets dripping all over floor!!!!
she demanded a milkshake and insisted on picking it up herself but because she was shaking with anger she managed to pour it all over her head!!!!!!! it was a shock to her but she demanded``get me another one NOW!! and repeated the same process!! then pulledf her nasal gastric tube out from the end,leaving nasty marks on her face where she had pulled plasters off!!! two minutes later she looked at me so angelically and said~me have chocolate mummy?~~!!!!!!!!!!

like any child dealing with cancer,Briony had a really bad deal ,but she always had a smile and she loved her life and her family.

Briony loved crafts and would sit for hours drawing,painting,gluing and sticking.

Briony had So much to deal with in her short life,and if i can ever show half of the courage in my life that she showed in her short time then i will be a very happy person.

my daughter is a complete goddess to me, She didnt get chance to make her mark on the world,so i have to ensure that her name lives on.
